Dialogue and lightheartedness, fillers

Probably one of the strengths of this film is its well-thought-out  dialogue exchanges, which highlight the emotional depth, vulnerability, and connection between the characters in “Under Parallel Skies.” As there’s a lot of quotable lines.

To be honest, nanibago din ako sa multilingual set-up but as the film goes by makaka adjust ka naman which is quite good.

“Under Parallel Skies” also features moments of lightheartedness, fillers, and comedy to provide balance and entertainment.

The mirroring effect!

Throughout the film, Janella’s character becomes a pillar of strength for Metawin’s character. She offers him understanding, empathy, and unconditional love, helping him confront his past and come to terms with his emotions. Her presence in his life allows him to feel safe and supported, enabling him to open up and address the pain he has been carrying.

While on the other hand Metawin’s character is haunted by a painful past that continues to affect him deeply. He carries the weight of past mistakes and regrets, which often leave him feeling trapped and unable to move forward. The audience witnesses his internal battles as he grapples with guilt, self-doubt, and the fear of repeating past mistakes.

What can we learn upon watching the film??

Despite a few hiccups that I’ve seen, this is still a movie that you can enjoy with everyone.
