What are your long-term goals as a band? What kind of impact do you hope to make on the music scene?

Our long-term goal is to become globally influential artists who inspire people through our music. We hope that each member shines in their own way, and together, we want to give strength and courage to those who love music—so they can face challenges and chase their dreams.

What are your plans for future releases? Can you give us a hint about what fans can expect next?

We’re planning more live performances and are preparing for SUNNYKEY-branded concerts in the near future. We’re especially excited to meet our fans in person more often, and share the energy of our music in live settings.

What is your favorite aspect of being in SUNNYKEY, and what is the most challenging?

Our favorite part is the joy of creating and performing music together. Every time we play, we discover new harmony—not just musically, but as people too. The biggest challenge is continuing to grow as individuals while staying in sync as a band, but that process is also what makes it so rewarding.

What advice would you give to other aspiring bands trying to break into the music industry?

Believe in your team, challenge yourselves, and keep moving forward together. It’s not always easy, but if you support each other with heart and persistence, you’ll grow stronger and shine brighter.

What are some of your hobbies or interests outside of music?

BADA: I enjoy reading or rewatching my favorite movies. I also like spending time alone in a quiet space while listening to music. Rather than active things, I tend to recharge and heal through peaceful and quiet moments.

YENA: I love spending time watching movies or dramas while eating my favorite food.

YULIM: Eating delicious food, traveling, and watching Netflix in bed when I can’t fall asleep.

EUNSOL: Lately, I’ve been really into watching American dramas. After finishing my day, I make it a routine to put on a face mask and watch a drama before bed. I also enjoy taking walks while listening to music or organizing my room.

JOOHYEON:

My hobby is revisiting places I love. I’m such an extrovert that I can’t stand staying home, even on my day off—I always go out! I usually head to my studio, but when I really want to relax, I often go to a bookstore.

I especially love Kyobo Bookstore so much that I even keep their signature scent at home! These days, due to space limitations, I can’t do it as much, but I also love drawing and building Legos—I’m actually pretty good with my hands! 🙂

I also enjoy listening to people’s stories—their thoughts, preferences, moods—because hearing others expands my own thinking. That’s why I love reading essay collections. Honestly, there are so many things I love!

What is the most memorable moment of your band’s journey so far?

BADA: First, it was the day all five of us gathered in one place for the first time. Since each of us was cast at different times, that first meeting felt both unfamiliar and exciting!

Second, it was during the shoot for our very first music video, “Sunnykey Vibe.” The thought that we were finally able to share the music and performances we had prepared filled my heart with emotion. I still clearly remember rehearsing late into the night in the studio and performing in front of a camera for the first time. From that day until the video release, those were the moments when I truly felt our beginning.

YENA: I truly realized it when we went to the studio to take our first group photo. It was the first time we spent an entire day together, from early morning until late at night. We became closer that day, and seeing the way we supported and looked out for each other made me think, “This is really the beginning of us as one team.”

YULIM: It took a lot of time and effort to finalize the members, so the moment I met everyone who clicked so well with me really stayed with me. Also, our first music video shoot (SUNNYKEY Vibe) and its release on YouTube were truly unforgettable.

EUNSOL: The release day of “Shadow Dance” was the most memorable for me. It was our first SUNNYKEY song to be shared with the world after so much preparation, and I felt both nervous and emotional. I remember watching the music video over and over by myself. 🙂

JOOHYEON:

I think I felt it was truly the beginning when we did our main recordings in a big studio or worked until the last train with our PD and members. During late-night rehearsals, we’d start off super energetic and gradually get tired, and we’d laugh at how drained we looked. Thanks to my lovely members, I was able to take that first step with energy and joy. 🙂

What message do you want to leave for your fans?

BADA: I’m so happy and grateful to be able to talk about myself and Sunnykey like this. Each of our members has a different charm, but we all share a pure love for music! Please continue to support and love our music and stories. I sincerely hope you stay healthy and happy every day. (Thank you for being our happiness!)

YENA: Sunnykey really wants to meet our fans. We hope the time comes soon when we can connect and enjoy music together.

YULIM: Hello to all our listeners! First of all, thank you so much for noticing us and taking the time to get to know us!
It still feels unfamiliar and surreal to know we have fans, but now that you’ve discovered us, we’re so excited to show you all of our unique charm, energy, and great music. Please keep supporting us—we’ll work even harder and bring you more and more content!

EUNSOL: I’ll continue working hard to bring you more diverse songs and colorful performances! Please keep an eye on Sunnykey’s music and the hopeful messages we share, and we’d be so grateful for your continued support. 🙂

JOOHYEON:

Thank you so much for listening to our songs and cheering us on! Even the smallest encouragement gives Sunnykey the energy to rise. We still have a lot to improve, but we haven’t shown you everything
