We are fortunate to have the girl group FELIZZ from RISER MUSIC to share their music stories and personal charm with everyone. FELIZZ consists of six members: Chari, Jaoying, Chelsea, Pream, Acare, and Sangt, and officially debuted on May 23, 2025, with the single “See Through.” Each member has a unique personality and talent, and it is believed that their addition will inject new vitality into the Thai music scene. Let’s step into the musical world of FELIZZ together and learn about their dreams and pursuits.
What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
Chari: For me, it started when I was a kid. I’ve always been an active girl who loves to sing and dance. I’ve participated in TV shows and learned many skills, including jazz dance, which brings me so much joy. Honestly, I find it even more fulfilling than studying.
In school, I grew to love singing and dancing more and more through training. When I first discovered BLACKPINK, they truly inspired me. I even went to their concert and watched them perform on stage, it moved me to tears, though I didn’t know why. I think their passion and talent motivated me to dream of becoming like them one day.
Pream:
I totally relate. My inspiration really comes from myself. I’ve always loved performing, singing and dancing, and that passion made me want to keep developing my skills and turn them into my career.
Jaoying:
For me, I have to say my mom and dad played a huge role in inspiring me. It really all started with my dad, he loves to sing to my mom at every event we go to. His all-time favorite song is “She” by Elvis Costello from Notting Hill.
I was just a child standing next to him, vibing with the song and singing along, even though I didn’t know a single word of the lyrics. I was just happy to be there. My mom inspired me too.
She always loved turning up the radio really loud, and I’d sit next to her and dance along. I really enjoyed those moments. So, I think, in the end, what truly inspired me to love music were my parents.
Acare:
Interesting! I never thought I would end up in the music industry. When I was younger, I was always acting, so I assumed I would just stay on that path. But then the opportunity came, and I realized that singing had always been something I truly loved.
The hardest part for me was dancing, I had never danced before in my life. It felt like something so far away from me. But once I committed and gave it a real chance, I ended up falling in love with it. That was the moment I could finally see myself clearly as an idol.
Chelsea:
That’s similar to my story. I’ve wanted to be an idol since I was a kid. I always knew I wanted to be in the entertainment industry, but I wasn’t sure in which direction. Around middle school, maybe grade 7 or 8, I became a fan of K-Pop groups. That’s when I realized, I wanted to be on stage like them.
Sangt:
For me, I’ve been dancing ever since I was a kid. Whenever there was a dance competition, I would always join. I also loved K-pop so much that I kept learning their choreography. At some point, I started thinking, “What if one day I could be like them?” That thought became my inspiration and the starting point for pursuing this path.
What was the most challenging part of training?
Chari:
I’d say my biggest challenge has been my own lack of confidence. Sometimes I struggle to feel satisfied with myself, and there are moments when I cry because of that inner voice telling me I’m not beautiful enough or slim enough.
This lack of confidence feels like my greatest challenge. I have trained for many years, and I believe I can dance well, yet some still say I am not charming enough. It is difficult at times to explore myself deeply so that I can truly shine on stage. People often tell me that I focus too much on supporting others, and that I need to bring out a more assertive and competitive side when I perform.
Pream:
I feel that too, but for me, the challenge is always facing something new, whether it’s a dance move I’ve never done before or new vocal techniques. Facing those challenges can be tough, but I always want to push myself to overcome them.
Jaoying:
For me, flexibility is something I’ve really struggled with. In the beginning, my back couldn’t arch at all, so I had to practice stretching every morning and before rehearsals just to become flexible enough to perform our choreography. I would say that has been the most challenging part for me.
Acare:
Definitely dancing. Like I said, I started from zero, and suddenly I was surrounded by people with almost a decade of dance experience.
That was intimidating, and I didn’t want to be the one who slowed everyone down. So, I really had to push myself hard. It was exhausting, but I got through it because my members constantly encouraged me.
Chelsea:
For me, it was when I got injured or when my health wasn’t in the best condition. That was really tough, you know, when my body couldn’t keep up, my heart also felt down. I don’t know why, but it was so frustrating not being able to practice at 100% like usual. Still, I always tried to push myself to get back up. So, I would say: stay healthy and strong, everyone.
Sangt:
And for me, managing my time was the hardest part. Balancing studying with training left me little time to rest, which was exhausting.
Were there moments during training when you doubted your path? How did you overcome them?
Chari:
Honestly, I never doubted my path because I have clear goals and dreams, I want to achieve in the future. For example, I want to debut, have a concert, go on tour, bring happiness to our fans, and of course, yes, get rich!
Pream:
Same here. I’ve never felt unsure about being on this path. Everything new I face is something I’ve already chosen for myself, and I’m ready to take it on.
Jaoying:
I did have doubts, especially before my training days. Becoming an artist has always been my dream since I was young, but about 3 or 4 years ago, when I started acting, I thought I had let that dream go. I loved acting so much and wanted to be an actress. But deep down, there was this inner child in me saying something was missing, singing and dancing.
When I heard that Riser Music was going to form a girl group, that inner child in me was so excited. I thought about it for a while, then decided to accept the opportunity. And now here I am, being an idol and Felizz, and I’m so happy with my decision. As for how I overcame the moments of doubt, honestly, I talked to myself a lot. I had to remind myself what I truly wanted to do. And that’s how I got through it.
Acare:
For me, I doubted myself a few times. There were moments when I felt overwhelmed and questioned whether I belonged here. But every time, my members lifted me up, their encouragement reignited my motivation and reminded me of the bigger picture: we have each other, and we are working toward it together.
Chelsea:
Of course, there were many times when I doubted myself. Whenever that happened, I reminded myself why I started and what I was working toward. I would picture my younger self, the little version of me who used to dream about standing on stage. Then I’d think, if she could see me here right now, how happy would she be? That thought always gave me strength.
Sangt:
Like Chari, I never doubted it. Like I said, this has been my dream since I was a child, and being here means I am already living my biggest dream.
How did the group members bond during pre-debut? Any memorable moments?
Chari:
We’ve spent a lot of time talking and sharing experiences together, like traveling to different provinces and doing activities as a group. Even though it hasn’t been a very long period, those moments mean a lot to me.
I really like that everyone has such different personalities, many are extroverted, which actually helps me, as an introvert, to feel relaxed and comfortable with my friends.
One of the most memorable moments for me was when we were Riser Rookies and had the chance to perform on stage. Before every performance, we would talk to each other, share our feelings, and encourage one another by saying, “Let’s do our best today.” Then we’d touch hands as a group before going on stage. That moment always made me feel that we were truly walking together toward the same goal.
Pream:
In the beginning, we hardly knew each other, but one memorable moment was around New Year’s when we hung out together for the first time. We walked around the mall, watched a show, and had a big group meal. It felt so good, and that day really strengthened our bond.
Jaoying:
During our Riser Rookie days, we worked really, really hard to bond with each other and became the group we dreamed of. But over time, we reached a point where we didn’t even have to try anymore, we could just be ourselves with one another. And I think that’s the key. That’s when people started to really love us and see us as a true group. So, honestly, don’t try too hard, just be yourself with each other.
Acare:
Yeah, we basically lived side by side for over half a year during the training process, so naturally, we grew incredibly close. We shared meals, late nights, tears, and countless practices. All of that created a strong sense of sisterhood and truly made us feel like a family.
Chelsea:
Yes, I feel the same that Training was really what brought us together. We mostly spent time together in the practice room, and sometimes we went out a little bit. But honestly, I think the real closeness came from training. The more time we spent together, the more we talked and encouraged each other, and that made us feel like we weren’t alone on this path. As for memorable moments, there are so many. Probably the times when we did something totally random and silly, and it ended with us laughing so hard together. I think those simple, everyday moments are actually the most unforgettable, they really capture the spirit of our life together.
Sangt:
Well, it was actually quite difficult for me at first to connect with the others because I didn’t have any experience. I had to keep adjusting and learning as we worked together. But over time, it got so much better, the members really showed me how much they care. One of the most memorable moments for me was when they all came together to help me solve a problem. They did it so willingly, and it truly felt like I had five real older sisters looking out for me.
How did you feel when you finally learned your debut date? What went through your mind?
Chari:
I’m ready for this. I was so happy to finally have my own song and a group name, Felizz. Everything ahead felt super exciting, and I just hoped success would come to us. It may sound simple, but that was exactly what was on my mind.
Pream:
For me, this is actually my second time debuting in a group, so it felt like my dream was awakened again. I was excited and happy to make this my career, and I promised myself that I would do my very best.
Jaoying:
I thought, “This is insane!”. I couldn’t believe I was actually doing it right now. It’s always been my dream, and at one point I had already given up on it. And now here I am, doing it, this is just insane.
Acare:
Yes, I was honestly stunned. Time had flown by so quickly from the very beginning of training to that moment.
I couldn’t believe it was happening so soon. I felt nervous, of course, but more than anything I felt excited, like our dream was finally turning into reality.
Chelsea:
Me too, I felt totally stunned, like frozen, and the first thing that came to my mind was, ‘This is really happening. My dream is actually coming true.’ And I was like, ‘Are you kidding me? You’re not kidding, right? It’s true?’ Yeah, something like that.
Sangt:
I was thinking, Oh, so we’re not Riser Rookies anymore? It still feels a little strange to say the name Felizz, haha. Honestly, I think it means things will get even tougher and more challenges will come our way. But at the same time, it also means we’re taking another step closer to our dream, and that makes me really excited.
What was the concept/story behind your debut song?
Felizz: Our debut song “See Through” captures the essence of Felizz, playful, charming, and a little sexy, just like our cat-inspired concept. The idea came from our producer P’ Kangsom, who wanted something bold and alluring for our first image. He asked us to share trending phrases, and when Chelsea mentioned “Jai Bang” (ใจบาง), meaning a soft, fragile heart, it sparked the emotional theme of the song. “See Through” is about wanting someone to truly understand how we feel, to look past the surface and see into our hearts. With its catchy melody and flirty choreography, it’s the perfect introduction to who we are.
How did you handle the pressure of introducing yourselves to the public for the first time?
Chari:
I was definitely a little nervous about how people might see us at first, but those worries faded whenever I looked at my members. I believe in all of us. We’re walking this path together as Felizz, and because each member has their own unique charm, I’m sure people will fall in love with us.
Pream:
I feel the same. I was nervous but also deeply touched. I remember my eyes tearing up a little because it was such a special moment, the day I had been waiting for finally came. Having my friends and family support me and give me the strength I needed.
Jaoying:
For me, it was my first time as part of a girl group, so of course I was super, super stressed. I kept thinking, how are people going to think about me? How are they going to think about our group? Will they like us or not? Those questions just kept running through my head. But in the end, I realized I had to let it go, because at the end of the day it’s just me, my members, and our fans.
If I don’t let those thoughts go, it’s 100% going to affect my performance, and I don’t want that to happen. So yeah, the best thing I could do was let those thoughts fade away.
Acare:
I didn’t really feel pressured, because I’ve been in the industry before as an actress when I was younger. But introducing myself as a member of Felizz felt completely new. I was a little shy, but at the same time really excited.
Chelsea:
In that moment, I just took slow, deep breaths, in and out, over and over, and tried to stay present. It helped me calm my mind from all the excitement and the worries about whether people would like me or what they might think of me.
Sangt:
At first, I felt a lot of pressure (even now I still do, but it’s less and has turned more into excitement, haha). In the beginning, I just thought of it like when I used to join dance competitions, there were always a lot of people watching. The only difference this time is that I have to perform as an artist.

What’s a personal milestone you’ve achieved since your debut that you’re proud of?
Chari:
For me, a big milestone is being able to perform on stage again as an idol. Some people have known me for a long time because I trained and even debuted before, and there were fans who were still waiting for me to come back. So, I never gave up. Having the chance to do this again makes me really happy and proud of myself, and it shows that I truly didn’t give up.
Pream:
I feel proud when fans say they’ve followed me since my very first debut or even from when I was on a competition show. It makes me proud because I put so much heart into those moments, so it means a lot that people recognized my effort and have supported me ever since.
Jaoying:
For me, the milestone I’m most proud of is having Felizz in the concert lineup. I used to be in the audience at that concert, and now I’ve had the chance to actually perform on that same stage. That feels really special to me.
Acare:
One unforgettable moment was when a fan recognized me at the mall and asked, ‘Are you Acare from Felizz?’ It may sound simple, but it meant everything to me. It showed that our music had really reached people, and that all the effort we poured into it was resonating.
Chelsea:
Umm, of course, becoming a full-fledged artist. That’s one of my biggest milestones. I’d say it’s something I’m really proud of. Also, performing at a music festival was an incredible moment. And having our own single, that’s like a dream come true, yeah.
Sangt:
I feel proud when I look back and see myself as a kid copying K-pop dance moves from the TV. And now, it’s me who’s on TV.
What’s the story or message behind your debut single? How does it represent your group’s identity?
Felizz:
Our debut single “See Through” perfectly captures who we are as Felizz, playful, sincere, and emotionally open. The idea came from a casual chat, sparked by the phrase “Jai Bang,” (ใจบาง), which led P’ Kangsom to create a song that’s cute, sexy, and full of heart. It’s about loving someone so deeply that your emotions become transparent. We’re not trying to be tough; we want people to see into our hearts and feel our sincerity. Like six charming cat-girls, we invite listeners into our world with warmth, confidence, and love. See Through is our way of saying, “This is us, real, honest, and full of positive energy.”
Fun & Personal
If you could collaborate with any artist (living or dead), who would it be and why?
Chari:
Good question! Honestly, it’s hard to choose just one because there are so many artists I’d love to collaborate with. But one that comes to mind is a new group from South Korea called All Day Project. They’re a hip hop group, and since I really like hip hop style, I think it would be amazing to work with them. They also have both male and female members, so I think it would look really cool together with Felizz.
I’d also love to collaborate with a Thai artist, TIMETHAI. I’ve followed him for a long time, and I think he’s one of the most talented male artists in Thailand. He can sing and dance really well. His style is R&B, he has smooth, slow songs, but also fun dance tracks like Hit Me Up, which is so hot. A collab with him would be exciting and would bring out a new side of Felizz. And of course, I’d love to collaborate with other T-pop groups as well. If there’s ever a chance and a group that wants to work with us, we’d definitely say yes, it would be a great experience for us.
Pream:
I’d love to collaborate with BTS. They’ve been a huge inspiration for me, even my dad has been a fan since before they were famous. To work with them would truly be one of the proudest moments of my life.
Jaoying:
If I could choose any artist, it would be Mariah Carey. I love her voice so much, I never get tired of listening to her. Her singing is truly magical to me. Honestly, I’d want to collaborate with her just for the chance to meet her. I’d be happy to sing just one line and let her sing the whole song while I sit and listen. That would be enough, because I love her so, so, so much.
Acare:
Definitely, No One Else. They’re my favorite band, and their music always feels timeless and romantic. Every time I listen, it’s like being in a cinematic scene. If I ever had the chance to collaborate with them, it would feel like stepping right into one of those moments.
Chelsea:
Definitely SEVENTEEN. They’re the reason I got into K-pop in the first place, and I’ve been a fan ever since. They’re amazing, no matter how much time passes, their stage performances never lose quality. They’re also super funny, and I love their variety of skills. Back then, I dreamed that if I could ever perform with them, I would be so happy. It would truly be such a special moment for me.
Sangt:
I’d love to collaborate with our senior group, LYKN!
What’s a hidden talent or hobby your fans don’t know about?
Chari:
I think I’m actually quite a strong girl. I love going to the gym and working out a lot. While some people might give up and not come back after training, I find it really fun. I don’t think my fans know this about me yet!
Pream:
I like building Legos. Fans might not know because I’ve never mentioned it before. I also like drawing, even though I’m not very good at it, I just enjoy it.
Jaoying:
I’m not really sure I have a hidden talent, but I do love to cook, bake, and crochet. I don’t think many fans know this about me yet.
Acare:
I wouldn’t call it talent, but I think I’m a very reflective person. I like to spend time alone, usually once a month, just analyzing and thinking deeply about my life, my future, and the different choices I could make. I often ask myself, ‘What if I do this? What if that happens? What would the consequences be?’ It might sound a little funny, but I really enjoy planning and imagining all the different possibilitie
Chelsea:
I think many fans don’t know that I really love Thai traditional dance, and I believe I’m actually pretty good at it, even though I’ve never had the chance to show it. I also really love traditional dances from China, Japan, and Korea as well. Another hobby of mine is car racing and speed, I enjoy watching Formula One and Formula Two. I don’t follow it very closely, but every time I get to watch a race, it makes me so happy. There was even a time when I dreamed of becoming a professional racer!
Sangt:
I really like drawing, playing sports, editing video clips, and creating content.
Where do you see yourselves as artists 5 or 10 years from now?
Chari:
I see Felizz having our own concert with many fans coming to see us. By that time, all of the members will be grown up, everyone will be over 20. I wonder how we’ll look at that point, especially our youngest member, Sangt, who will have grown up a lot. But I’m confident that we’ll be successful and happy together.
Pream:
I still see myself doing this, because I want to keep going for a long time, even until I grow old. I want to become a better artist every day and also be an inspiration to others.
Jaoying:
Five or ten years from now, I’d love to see our group performing on a world tour. I also hope we’ll win some awards, and that each of us will have our own individual paths while still doing group activities together. That’s really my wish.
Acare:
I see myself as part of one of the most influential groups, not just in Thailand but globally. I’d also love to circle back to acting, because that’s where my original passion started. But more than anything, I see myself surrounded by fans, because they’re truly the ones who make this journey meaningful.
Chelsea:
I see Felizz becoming even more skilled and continuing to grow as artists from where we are now. By then, we’ll have even more fans who love and support us. Even 10 years from now, no matter what individual paths we may take, Felizz will still be here. I want to say that Felizz will never fade, we’ll always carry that spirit with us.
Sangt:
By then, I’ll definitely have more experience, and I hope we’ll have released many more singles. Please keep supporting us all the way until then!
What advice would you give to trainees aspiring to debut in the future?
Chari:
I want to say that if you truly enjoy doing this, then don’t stop. Everyone has good days and bad days, that’s completely normal. If you’re having a tough day and people tell you that you’re not good enough, it’s okay to feel sad. It’s okay to cry. Take your time and try again when you’re ready. You’re not alone in this, believe me. Some people reach their dreams quickly, and for others it takes longer, but eventually, it will be your time to shine.
Pream:
Don’t give up on your dreams. Believe in yourself, do what you love, and stay focused and determined. Don’t rush, just keep going, and your time will come.
Jaoying:
I know this might sound simple, but please don’t give up. I always hold on to this quote from the Fairy Godmother: ‘Even miracles take a little time.’ I truly believe that everyone has their own time to shine, you just have to be patient and wait for it. But if you give up, that moment will never come. To anyone reading this who has a dream, I’m sending my warmest hugs to all of you.
Acare:
I know it’s hard, but reaching this point is tougher than people might think. There will be days when you feel hopeless, but don’t let that discourage you. Keep putting yourself out there and be patient, because the right time will come, and when it does, it will be your moment to shine.
Chelsea:
First, I want to say you’re amazing for daring to chase your dream. If you don’t start taking action, your dreams can’t come true. Believe in yourself, have confidence, and no matter what obstacles you face, always remember why you started and what you’re working for. Take time to reflect on it, it might give you the answer or motivation you need to keep going. So, keep fighting, everyone. I’m cheering for you!
Sangt:
Don’t be afraid to take action! If there’s an audition, apply. Don’t hold yourself back. Once you try, you already give yourself a 50-50 chance. But if you do nothing, your chance is zero. No matter what the outcome, at least you know you tried. In the end, you’re the only one who knows how much effort you put in. So, keep going, your day will come.
What would you like to say to fans who’ve supported you since pre-debut?
Chari:
Thank you for always being by my side. Some of you have known me for many years, while others just discovered me through Felizz, but I truly appreciate each and every one of you. Honestly, I sometimes don’t feel important, but when I read your messages, or when I see posts saying you miss me, I realize how much I actually mean to you and that means the world to me.
You all brighten my days, and I want you to know that I hope I can make your days just as happy in return. I love you all so, so, so much.
Pream:
Thank you. Thank you so much for seeing something in me, for supporting everything I do, and for always being my strength. You are my encouragement every single day as I continue this career. It makes me feel that all my hard work truly has meaning whenever I see fans supporting me. Thank you so sincerely, and I hope everyone will continue to support me. I promise to keep doing my best and never let you down.
Jaoying:
To my fans, whether you’ve supported me since pre-debut, debut, or even just yesterday, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Without you, there wouldn’t be me. There wouldn’t be this version of me. You’ve made me the best version of myself, and I’m endlessly grateful for that. I love you all so, so, so much. Truly, thank you.
Acare:
I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Without your love and support, I wouldn’t have made it this far. I hope we can continue this journey together for a very, very long time. Love you all.
Chelsea:
First, thank you so much. Without fans, I would feel completely lost. I’ve always worried, will anyone like me? Will anyone support me? Am I too much? Too much energy? Am I good enough? Am I pretty enough? Am I worth it? So many questions went through my head, but the first time I heard people shouting my name, ‘Chelsea,’ I teared up. Even now, I still do. It reminds me that there are people who care about me and see my work. There’s really no word other than thank you, for being the energy that keeps me going every single day. I love you guys so much. And I hope what I’m saying makes sense and doesn’t confuse you too much, haha. Have a great day and thank you again.
Sangt:
Thank you for being with us since the very beginning. I’m so happy to have all of you supporting us. Without you, Felizz might not have made it this far. From now on, I’ll keep working hard to release music and performances for you to enjoy. I love you all so much—see you at future events!
