Emerging from Thailand’s growing idol scene, NyZas is a group that blends bright pop melodies, synchronized performance, and the warm, approachable charm often associated with J-pop inspired idol culture. Since their debut under Zound20 Music, NyZas has steadily captured attention through their energetic stage presence, catchy singles like “It’s Monday” and “Love Mission”, and a group dynamic that radiates both teamwork and individuality.

More than just performers, each member brings her own personality, dreams, and experiences to the group — creating a shared journey that fans can follow and feel connected to. With concepts that range from sweet and youthful to confident and expressive, NyZas continues to evolve while staying grounded in the spirit of joy, friendship, and ambition that defines their name.

In this exclusive written interview, we get to know the members behind the music — their inspirations, their growth, the challenges they’ve faced, and the hopes they carry for the future. Whether you’re a longtime follower or new to their story, this conversation offers a closer look into the heart of NyZas.

The name NyZas comes from the Greek word “Nysa” (goal/ambition). How does this meaning shape your group’s mission?

Cream : “NyZas” means goal or ambition, and we really take that to heart. NyZas is about chasing dreams together — not just ours, but our fans’ too. We want to show that no matter how far your goal feels, you can get closer step by step, as long as you keep believing and moving forward.

What was the audition process like for ZOUND 20 Music? What made you say, “I want to be part of NyZas”?

Meenthan: For me, my favorite part of the audition was the workshop with everyone while waiting for the final round. Working with people who share the same passion was so much fun and really fired me up! When I was chosen as the center for the final audition song, I thought, ‘Wow… just one step away! My dream of becoming an idol is almost real!’ ✨

I wanted to be part of NyZas because I love the bright, little-sister concept  it fits me so well! Plus, the agency gives us the freedom to truly be ourselves, which made me even more excited to join NyZas and I want to take NyZas as far as we can.

As a 9-member group, how do you balance individuality with teamwork in performances?

Pew : As a 9-member group, balancing individuality and teamwork means respecting and understanding each other’s differences, and always communicating about how our “individuality” can best contribute to the group. I believe everyone has their own unique charm, and NyZas as a group has a very distinct character.

When we practice or perform, we try to create a united energy while still letting each member shine in her own way.
For example, Bebam may love a cool style, but she can still pull off a cute expression perfectly in Love Mission! (>_<)

Your debut single, “It’s Monday”, has a fun, energetic vibe. What’s the story behind the song, and why was it the perfect introduction to NyZas?

Praewpraw  : This song came from our group’s concept  we’re like bright, playful little sisters! 💕 So the melody naturally turned out fun and cheerful, with cute, mischievous lyrics about friends, exams, and school life. It really feels like the start of a new semester for us! That’s why we chose It’s Monday as our debut song. It represents who NyZas truly are and is the perfect way to say, ‘Nice to meet you!’ to everyone.”

How would you describe your musical style to someone new to your group? Are there genres or artists that inspire NyZas?

Sign: Our music style is a blend of bright pop and emotional storytelling — songs that shine with energy but also carry real feelings. NyZas is all about light and connection — we want every song to make listeners feel a little stronger, a little warmer, and a little more understood.

You’ll find a mix of cheerful idol pop like “Love Mission” and “It’s Monday”, alongside emotional tracks like “Tsuki No Kage” and “A Bouquet of Us” Each one shows a different side of who we are.

The inspiration behind NyZas comes from each of our members! We all share the same bright energy, but everyone also has their own unique charm that we want to express through different kinds of songs. If you listen to our music, you’ll realize  there’s nothing quite like NyZas!” ✨

What’s one lyric from “It’s Monday” that best represents NyZas’ personality?

Beam :  I think the lyrics “ฉันมั่นใจว่ามันต้องออกมาดี เย้ วันพรุ่งนี้ต้องดีกว่าในวันนี้ ” ( Chan man jai wa man tong ok ma dee, yay, wan phrung nee tong dee gwa nai wan nee ) it mean “I’m sure it’s going to turn out great, yeah, tomorrow will be better than today,” reflect our effort to keep getting better in many ways as Nyzas. Even though we might not be perfect or good enough yet, we believe in each other and trust that we can continue developing our skills and make our group more well-known. We won’t give up, and we’ll always be there to support one another.

What’s the hardest part of being a  group in Thailand’s competitive music scene?

Pew : The hardest part of being a group in Thailand’s competitive music scene is making people remember us for who we really are. Every group has its own charm and talent, and since we’re a J-pop–style group, I personally think it’s a bit harder for this genre to reach the Thai market compared to others.

So we have to find the point that makes NyZas stand out without losing our true selves, and always keep improving so people can love us for who we genuinely are. I think right now, we’re on the right path.

What’s something you’ve learned about yourselves since debuting in 2024?

Fone : I’ve learned how to keep improving myself to become a better idol from singing and dancing skills to communication and mindset. I’ve also learned to open my heart and truly appreciate all the love and support that fans give us.

Praewpraw : I’ve learned that being an idol while working a regular job isn’t easy at all! hahaha ♥ But it made me realize how much I really love being an idol. Every time I get tired from work, going on stage and hearing fans cheer for us instantly brings me back to life!”

Cream : I never planned to be an idol. I didn’t think I had the talent or confidence for it. I’ve never thought I would love being on stage. But since debut, I’ve discovered how much strength I can get from fan’s support, the strength that makes me try, again and again. I’ve learned that growth itself can be a kind of talent.

Pew : For me… I actually debuted in 2025. These past eight months have gone by so fast … maybe even too fast. It’s been so amazing that I don’t want it to end. I’ve learned about myself that, hey, I can actually sing well! And it’s all thanks to NyZas (^0^). I’ve also learned how to work with others and become more responsible. It’s truly been such a wonderful time.

BeBam : It was an experience that I could not have imagined at first~ !! but after trying many things, it became a precious memory for me ㅠ ‧̫ ㅠ♡ I practiced dancing, practiced singing, talked with many people, and learned so many things I had never known before !! ~ It made me feel very happy and had a lot of fun !!! ໒꒰ྀི∩˃ ᵕ ˂∩꒱ྀི১

Beam : I used to be someone who wasn’t very confident about expressing myself. Even though I loved singing, I was too shy to do it in public. But after becoming an idol, I realized that singing in front of others isn’t as scary as I thought. In fact, it feels amazing when someone says they like my voice. That made me more confident to express myself. If I hadn’t become an idol, I’d probably still be singing alone in my room right now hahaha.

Sign: Becoming part of NyZas 2nd Generation was one of the biggest challenges of my life. At that time, I was struggling both physically and mentally, but the fire inside me — my passion for being an idol  never faded.
There were moments when my body felt weak, when I had to face new teammates, meet the management team for the first time, and push myself to be on time and professional on stage. Yet, every difficulty reminded me why I started.

Inninn: Since our debut in 2024, I’ve learned that resilience and teamwork truly shape who I am. Performing and growing with other members taught me to trust others and to stay grounded. Most of all, I’ve realized that being genuine connects me with people more deeply than trying to be perfect ever could..✨

Meenthan: It’s already been over a year. Time flies! Becoming an idol and being a member of NyZas has been such an amazing experience. Along the way, I’ve learned to improve myself — in singing, dancing, personality, and interacting with others. Performing on stage, meeting the NyZas members, and talking with fans have all made me so happy to be an idol and a member of NyZas. I really wish this could last forever. -`♥´-

Team Z uses bats to symbolize “freedom in shadows.” How does this theme shape your choreography, visuals, or lyrics?

Cream : For me, the bat symbolizes freedom in the shadows comes from the idea that even in darkness, we can still fly and shine in our own way
In our choreography, we use sharp and powerful movements to show the strength and confidence that come from embracing that darkness.
Visually, the dark tones black and blue represent mystery and independence, while the lyrics express overcoming disappointment and fear.
Altogether, it’s about turning what people fear or hide into something beautiful and strong.

Team N’s flower motif represents “brightness.” What emotions or stories do you want to convey through this daytime concept?

Beam :  Team N is like the warm light of the morning sun that wants to lead everyone out of loneliness and sadness in the dark of night or during difficult times. They are always there to give us strength and stay by our side when we feel down or discouraged—just like in the ending of the MV “ คำสัญญาใต้แสงตะวัน (Taiyou no ai)”   where Team N members wake Team Z from a bad dream.

For me personally, I also see it another way: Team N represents our fans, while Team Z represents myself . When I feel sadness, exhaustion, or discouragement .But thanks to the fans’ warmth and encouragement, I find the strength to stand up and keep going again. Honestly, I think me and the other members can really feel that support, and it gives us the motivation to keep moving forward together.

Do any members personally relate more to their opposite team’s concept? (e.g., a Team Z member loving flowers or Team N loving bats!)

Cream: I thought it would be me, lol—just kidding! I do love flowers, but I won’t deny that I probably fit Team Z’s concept more. Actually, I think we were all perfectly chosen—not just for our personalities, but also for our vocal ranges and dance styles. It feels really well thought out, like everything was calculated to match each member. We’ve also performed each other’s songs on stage as full teams, and it always feels like perfect harmony.

Praewpraw (Team Z) helped craft the storyline for “Promise Under the Moonlight.” How did this opportunity come about, and what was your biggest inspiration for the MV’s narrative?

Praewpraw: The official gave members with ideas a chance to create the MV story. Since I love storytelling, when I first read the lyrics my heart was racing 💓. So many scenes popped into my head that I couldn’t even choose hahaha.

I really wanted everyone to be the main character of their own story, so we could all shine equally. Because we’re so close, I often notice each member’s hidden struggles—like fear of the dark, loneliness, self-doubt that turns toxic, escaping into music, or smiling while carrying heavy pressure inside.

In the MV, you’ll see us trying to reach for the light, which represents happiness… but it keeps slipping away. What happens in the end? Please watch Promise Under the Moonlight to find out (^o^).

Team N and Team Z have distinct sounds. How did you ensure the two singles still feel like part of the same NyZas universe?

Sign: Even though “Promise Under the Moonlight (Tsuki no kage)” and “Promise Under the Sunlight (Taiyou no Ai) ” have very different moods and sounds, we made sure they still belong to the same NyZas universe by focusing on what connects us — our message, our emotions, and our bond as a group.

Both songs tell two sides of the same story — one seen through the calm glow of the moon, and the other through the warmth of the sun. The arrangements and melodies were designed to reflect those contrasts, but our voices, harmonies, and emotional sincerity tie them together.

We also carried the same visual language across both concepts — small symbols, colors, and gestures that remind listeners that no matter day or night, NyZas’s promise stays the same: to shine together with the people who believe in us.

How do you want fans to feel when they watch a NyZas performance?

Fone: I want fans to feel energized and encouraged when they watch us perform — like they’re receiving positive energy that helps them move forward in their own lives. I hope our stage gives them passion and motivation to keep chasing their dreams.

Bebam: I want people to watch our show and enjoy it as if they were part of it !!!~ I hope it makes them spontaneously exclaim, “Wow, that was such a great show!!!! I want to see it again! (՞⸝⸝o̴̶̷̥ ⌑ o̴̶̷̥⸝⸝՞)” Because to me, bringing joy to the audience from the stage is very important ~ !!! That is why I want everyone to have fun ~ ૮ ◜ᵕ◝ ྀིა♡

If you could collaborate with any Thai or international artist, who would it be and why?

Fone: I’d love to collaborate with iLiFE! I really admire their cuteness and the bright energy they bring to every performance. Their stage presence inspires me, and I hope NyZas can deliver that same level of joy and energy to our fans too.

What’s one big dream NyZas hopes to achieve in the next two years?

Fone: Our biggest dream is to hold our own large-scale concert a show that fans all around the country know about and sing along to. We hope our songs become widely loved, our fanbase grows, and each member continues to improve until we’re ready to shine on a big stage together.
