TYNE is a rising five-piece indie band redefining Thailand’s independent music scene with their fresh blend of sound, emotion, and artistic identity. The band is composed of beb (Bannawait Srisunt) on lead vocals and guitar, Beam (Chiratchaya Janjiredrusmee) on lead vocals and synth, Tyne (Apicha Soontornchai) on keyboard and synth, Gunn (Krittanai Piriyaponpiboon) on bass, and SIMMAMONS on drums.

Their journey began with Tyne’s solo project, which later evolved into something far more collaborative. As he invited drummer-producer SIMMAMONS into the creative process, the two started gathering fellow musicians—some longtime college friends and others seeking a new start after leaving previous bands. Eventually, their shared direction and musical chemistry brought the five artists together, officially forming TYNE. Today, they operate as a fully independent band, proudly unsigned, with full creative freedom guiding their artistic path.

Introducing Eclipsed Street Calling

TYNE steps boldly into the spotlight with their debut EP, Eclipsed Street Calling—a project that showcases their fearless approach to genre-blending and storytelling. Rooted in Indie Pop and Indie R&B, the EP further incorporates elements of Electronica, Afrobeat, Soft Rock, and City Pop, creating a soundscape that feels both diverse and remarkably cohesive.

The album captures the nuanced emotional states experienced by city dwellers during twilight hours—those liminal moments suspended between day and night, certainty and doubt, chaos and calm. Drawing inspiration from the online phenomenon of “Liminal Space,” the band uses sound to evoke feelings of transition, nostalgia, displacement, and quiet wonder.

With Eclipsed Street Calling, TYNE aims to expand the possibilities within the indie genre—not only in the Thai music landscape but also in the wider international indie pop scene. Their artistic vision reflects a commitment to pushing boundaries and crafting music that resonates beyond cultural and geographical borders.
