After spending an extended period refining their sound behind closed doors, The Thai-based alternative-rock band Tilly Birds return to open a new chapter in their musical journey with their first full-length English album, I’ll Remember To Forget You. Created to communicate with a wider international audience through a more globally accessible musical language, the album preserves the band’s distinctive identity while allowing their music to travel further than ever before.
The 13-track record is shaped around the emotional contradiction of not wanting to remember, yet being unable to forget. Moving through memories, fractured relationships and the slow process of learning to let go, the album reflects the band’s earliest aspirations—when Tilly Birds first began writing songs in English. Listeners will hear a clear progression in the band’s sound, arrangements and storytelling, all of which now carry a broader international sensibility without losing the emotional depth that defines them.
While the album embraces a more global outlook, its core remains unmistakably Tilly Birds: memorable melodies, gradual emotional builds, and carefully considered details that give each song its own character. Ahead of the album’s release, the band introduced the project through a series of singles, including “White Pills,” “Retro-39,” “Never A Waste Of Time,” “Heaven (feat. Ben&Ben),” and “Call It A Day.” Together, these tracks established the album as a body of work that is open in both sound and emotion, ready to resonate with listeners across borders.
Completing the album’s narrative, Tilly Birds released “Shouting Eyes,” the final focus single from the project. Built on a bold alternative sound that remains contemporary and accessible, the song explores an unspoken emotional power play—where words may deny the truth, but the eyes reveal everything. It becomes a quiet test of control, asking who ultimately holds the upper hand when feelings can no longer be concealed.
The accompanying music video is directed by Jean Khamkwan, who draws viewers into this emotional standoff through layered, cinematic storytelling. The visual narrative captures the tension of unspoken feelings, translating subtle psychological shifts into striking imagery.
In addition to “Shouting Eyes,” the album features seven further tracks—“Dearest Tears,” “Our Happy Place,” “If You Say So (feat. James Alyn),” “Dirty Knees,” “Before The Sun Can Shine,” “Let Me Down In The Morning,” and the title track “I’ll Remember To Forget You.” Each song adds a distinct emotional shade, gradually completing the album’s journey from longing to release.

I’ll Remember To Forget You is not simply Tilly Birds’ first English album. It represents an open space the band has created for their music to travel further—connecting listeners in Thailand and beyond through shared emotions, memories and moments of reflection. Much like watching a film told through sound, the album invites listeners to confront their own feelings as the story unfolds.
