Still going strong with no signs of slowing down, multi-talented artist “KRIST” (Krist Perawat Sangpotirat) from RISER MUSIC returns with a fresh new sound. After warming hearts with his romantic single “เติมเธอ” (Fill My Heart) late last year, KRIST steps into 2026 by shedding his soft, romantic image and reinventing himself as a pop-rock artist with his latest comeback single, “ความคิดถึงที่ไม่จำเป็น (Friend Zone)”, featuring NANON (Nanon Korapat Kirdpan).

A song made for those stuck in the friend zone, this release is extra special as NANON not only joins as a featured artist but also serves as the producer. The track was co-written and composed by JOONG JASP.ER (Joong Archen Aydin), and the music video stars the charming all-girl group FELIZZ—Chelsea, Saint, Preme, Jaojing, A-Care, and Chari—who add vibrant energy to the visuals. This collaboration showcases RISER MUSIC artists teaming up to fully unleash their talents and deliver joy to fans through music.

Speaking about the project, KRIST shared:

“Working on ‘ความคิดถึงที่ไม่จำเป็น (Friend Zone)’ with NANON was incredibly fun. It’s a new style for me—pop-rock—which I’ve never done before. The first time I heard the demo, I immediately liked it. The music feels bright and energetic, blending both pop and rock perfectly.

JOONG wrote both the lyrics and melody, and it all came together so well. The team agreed that we wanted this song—and my image—to feel fresh and lively, different from my previous warm, romantic singles. That’s why I invited my younger brother NANON to join both in front of and behind the scenes—not just as a featured artist, but also as the producer and MV director.

The song tells the story of someone who doesn’t want to stay ‘just friends’ anymore, trying every way to make the other person fall in love, even while knowing they may only ever be seen as a friend. Even if that longing feels unnecessary to someone who sees us only as a friend, we still want to give them our heart.

For the MV, we wanted a cute, bright, slightly playful vibe, and FELIZZ helped bring so much color and charm to the video. I really hope everyone supports ‘ความคิดถึงที่ไม่จำเป็น (Friend Zone)’. This project involved so many people—NANON, JOONG, and FELIZZ—and we all gave it our absolute best.”
