In a music scene that continues to break boundaries, Rumor-X emerges as a group defined not just by talent, but by diversity and shared ambition.
Composed of seven members from across the globe—including the United States, France, Sweden, and China—Rumor-X brings together different cultures, backgrounds, and experiences into one unified vision. Despite growing up worlds apart, the group is connected by the same dream: to create music that resonates beyond borders.
At the heart of Rumor-X’s identity is a powerful message of authenticity and empowerment. The group embraces individuality while standing strong as one, redefining what female power looks like in today’s generation. Rather than fitting into a single mold, they celebrate their differences—and turn them into their greatest strength.
As they begin their journey in the global music scene, Rumor-X hopes to inspire listeners to see a reflection of themselves in their story—real, diverse, and unapologetically true.
In this interview, we dive deeper into the group’s beginnings, inspirations, and the message they want to share with the world.
For readers discovering you for the first time, who is Rumor-X?
Rumor-X is a seven member global girl group made up of girls from different countries and cultures, including the U.S., France, Sweden, and China. Even though we all grew up differently, we share the same dream and passion for music.
We want to represent authentic female power. To us, that means embracing who we are individually while standing strong together. We hope people see themselves in us.
How did the group come together?
We came together through global auditions and casting. Some of us auditioned traditionally, while others were discovered and invited.
We all joined at different times, trained separately at first, and eventually met during preparation.
It felt like everything aligned at the right moment. Once we started training and spending time together, we realized we weren’t just individuals chasing the same goal.
We were building something as a team.
What does the name Rumor-X mean?
There are always rumors and outside opinions, especially in this industry. We chose to cross them out.
The X represents shutting down negativity and false narratives. It is about staying true to ourselves instead of letting outside noise define us.
At the same time, the X also represents how different we are from one another. We are all unique, and that uniqueness is our strength.

How would you describe your sound and concept?
Right now, our sound is very Y2K-inspired. It is nostalgic, confident, energetic, and fashionable.
We love that early 2000s pop energy and the bold femininity that came with it. We are inspired by groups that made a big impact before us, but we want to reinterpret that feeling in our own way.
As we grow, we also hope to branch into different concepts and explore new sounds.
What makes Rumor-X different?
Our diversity is real. We come from different cultures, beliefs, personalities, and musical influences. Instead of trying to blend that away, we highlight it.
What really makes us strong is our bond. We respect each other and communicate openly. Many of us have faced challenges in our lives, so we understand one another on a deeper level. That creates a sense of comfort and trust within the group.
Can you tell us about your training?
We trained in Korea for three months, focusing on dance and vocals. It was intense and fast-paced. We were also very hands-on during recording and filming our music video.
Being away from family was one of the hardest parts for some of us. Adjusting to a new environment while keeping up with training was challenging. But those experiences brought us closer together and shaped us as artists.
Who are your musical influences?
As individuals, our inspirations range from Britney Spears and Lady Gaga to Ariana Grande,
The Weeknd, BTS, Jennie, Avril Lavigne, and NewJeans.
As a group, we are inspired by powerful girl groups like Destiny’s Child and Blaque. We admire
their confidence, stage presence, and unity.

How involved are you creatively?
We share our ideas openly. While our company helps guide the overall direction, we are encouraged to give our opinions.
Some of us contributed to songwriting and harmonies, and we
all discuss visuals and performance details together. It is important to us that what we release
feels genuine.
What story do you want to tell through your music?
Confidence and girl power are at the center of everything we do. We want our music to make people feel bold, loved, and unapologetically themselves.
How do you connect with your international fans?
Social media helps us stay close to fans around the world. We love sharing moments and
interacting online. In the future, we hope to travel to many countries and meet fans face to face.
Since we are a global group ourselves, connecting across cultures means a lot to us.
What are your goals for the next year?
We want to release more music and continue growing together. Performing on bigger stages
and traveling the world would be a dream. Festivals like Coachella are definitely on our vision
board.
Most importantly, we want to stay true to ourselves while evolving as artists and as women.
Rumor-X is bringing a new wave of global energy you don’t want to miss.
