The next-generation artist group BENNY unveiled their third digital single, “Moon.” Inspired by the beauty of the Mid-Autumn Moon, the release marks a pivotal moment for the group as they continue to carve out a unique space in the global music scene under their visionary concept of “Japan Core.”

The “Japan Core” Vision

In an era where Japanese pop culture is enjoying a massive global resurgence, BENNY distinguishes themselves not just as performers, but as creators. Their identity is rooted in “Japan Core”—a philosophy that seeks to reinterpret the essence of traditional Japanese culture into a modern, forward-looking format.

BENNY is heavily involved in every stage of their creative process, from research and planning to concept development and execution. With “Moon,” the group blends contemporary pop sounds with a distinctive Japanese aesthetic, aiming to push their creative potential through music, visuals, and storytelling.

About the Single: “Moon”

The new track sees BENNY reuniting with creative powerhouses Kazuma Mitchell and Kay Clacker, who return to handle songwriting and composition. The arrangement was crafted by Kay Clacker, creating a soundscape that is both catchy and emotionally resonant.

Notably, “Moon” marks the lyric-writing debut of member AMA. Co-writing alongside Mitchell, AMA adds a fresh, personal emotional layer to the group’s evolving discography.

The visual identity for the release remains as refined as the sound. Photographer Kazumi Watanabe captures the group’s aesthetic, while Kanto Tsuji leads the cover design and lyric video production, overseen by creative director Seisou-sezan.
