Music has always been a major passion for talented artist NANON (Korapat Kirdpan) of RISER MUSIC, who has returned with his latest single, “ไม่เห็นชอบ” (Denied). The track delivers a bright, catchy T-POP sound, while also marking another exciting collaboration between NANON and acclaimed producer URBOYTJ.
Following the success of their previous collaboration, “KNOCK KNOCK,” which quickly became a fan favorite and gained popularity among listeners worldwide, the duo reunites for another playful and refreshing track. This time, the song also features NANON’s own cheeky lyrical concept, telling the story of someone who takes a cool and subtle approach to flirting. Rather than making his feelings too obvious, he chooses a more playful strategy—saying the opposite of what he truly feels. Although he keeps insisting that he “doesn’t approve,” the truth is that he has already fallen for the person he likes.
The music video for “Denied” takes the concept even further, with NANON portraying five different characters, each with a distinct personality and style. Packed with playful charm, humor, and plenty of adorable moments, the MV showcases another fun side of the artist.
Speaking about the making of the song, NANON shared:
“For ‘ไม่เห็นชอบ’ (Denied), this is a single that I put a lot of intention into, and I had so much fun making it. It also gave me the chance to work with P’TJ again after ‘KNOCK KNOCK,’ and I had the opportunity to contribute ideas for the lyrics as well.
“I wanted to portray the perspective of someone who is a little playful and mischievous when trying to flirt with someone. If you come on too strong, it might not feel very cool, so our way of expressing love becomes a way of ‘not expressing love.’ You keep saying, ‘I don’t approve,’ even though deep down, you already like that person. I honestly don’t know if this strategy will work, though!
“For the music video, I had to take on five different characters, each with a completely different style. I have to say, filming was exhausting but genuinely so much fun. I hope everyone will listen to the song and watch the MV to see all the different looks and characters I get to portray. I hope you enjoy and connect with the song as much as I did while making it.
