After captivating fans with multiple releases showcasing their impressive dance performances, FELIZZ are now revealing another side of themselves with their latest single, “Friend List.”

The new pop track marks the first slow song from the six-member girl group—CHELSEA, SANGT, PREAM, JAOYING, ACARE, and CHARI—under RISER MUSIC.

The song explores the bittersweet uncertainty of being stuck in the Friend Zone, questioning the true status of a relationship when someone’s actions sometimes make you feel special, yet at other times make you feel like just another friend.

Adding to the story, popular actor Tee Teeradej Withapanich takes on the male lead role in the music video.

The song was written and composed by acclaimed songwriter Aehm Achariya Dulyapaiboon, who also serves as the producer, bringing an even deeper emotional dimension to the track.

Speaking about the making of “Friend List,” FELIZZ shared:

“‘Friend List’ is our fifth single and our first slow song. Before this, we had talked about wanting to have a slow song that would allow our fans to see different sides of our performance and personalities.

When we found out that this single would be a slow song—and especially that P’Aehm would be producing it, as well as writing the lyrics and melody—we were incredibly excited and happy.

The song is about being stuck in the Friend Zone with someone without ever getting a clear answer about what we really are to each other. Sometimes, their actions make us feel like we’re someone special, but other times, they treat us just like everyone else. It leaves us wondering: What are we to each other? Or are we simply another name on their Friend List?

For the music video, P’Tee plays the male lead. In the story, we receive an invitation from him to attend a party. When we arrive, we are warmly welcomed, making us feel like we are someone special.

However, we eventually discover a Guest Book, or ‘Friend List,’ containing the names of people close to him, along with their respective relationships. That’s when we realize that what happened wasn’t actually something special—it was simply our place on his ‘Friend List.’

Even though this is a slow and emotional song, it still features choreography in the signature FELIZZ style. The song and music video are now officially available, and we hope everyone will listen to ‘Friend List’ and support us!”
