There’s a familiar feeling when a new love creeps in — quiet at first, frozen and guarded in your head, until something sparks and slowly thaws every cold edge. That’s exactly what Bangkok‑based five‑piece band Tyne captured in their single Hot ‘n Ice.

More than just a danceable tune, the track tells the story of that inner shift: the icy wall you’ve built around your heart meeting someone whose warmth burns steady, melting it little by little. Built around a snappy dance‑pop rhythm and bright funky city‑pop flourishes, it feels like both a confession and a carefree night out — equal parts vulnerable and upbeat.

Formed in 2024, Tyne brings together five distinct voices: beb. (Bannawait Srisunt) on lead vocals and guitar, Beam (Chiratchaya Janjiredrusmee) sharing lead vocals and playing synth, Tyne (Apicha Soontornchai) on keys and synths, Gunn (Krittanai Piriyaponpiboon) on bass, and SIMMAMONS on drums.
A year after coming together, they put out their debut EP Eclipsed Street Calling in 2025. Its closing track Prontera quickly gained traction, racking up streams across Thailand and other parts of Asia and introducing listeners to their breezy, synth‑driven sound.
For the band, Hot ‘n Ice feels like a natural next step — turning those messy, back‑and‑forth feelings of falling for someone into a song you can groove to, reminding us that even the coldest parts of us can soften when the right spark comes along.
