Twenty-year-old Jakarta-based singer Angel Tan, who is of
Taiwanese, Portuguese, and Ambonese Indonesian descent, continues her musical journey with the release of her latest single, “Pulang Rumah,” under Chaoss Entertainment.
As her fourth solo single, “Pulang Rumah” showcases a more personal side of Angel’s artistry through a song that originated from her own creative inspiration. Angel developed the song herself, with the assistance of her industry friend, Fiki, throughout the creative process.
Interestingly, the idea for “Pulang Rumah” came to Angel spontaneously while she was on a flight. Inspired by the moment, she immediately wrote down her ideas and recorded the melody that came to mind before developing it into a complete song.
“Pulang Rumah” explores the search for the true meaning of home—not simply a place to return to, but a source of comfort, safety, acceptance, and a space where one can truly find oneself. The song also invites listeners to reflect on the meaning of home through different stages of life, including family relationships, the pressures of adulthood, and the search for a place where they genuinely feel they belong.

Home isn’t only a place — it is comfort, safety, and the search for where we truly belong.

The track caught the attention of Chaoss Entertainment after its Managing Director, Alif Shah Jamil, heard the demo and recognised the song’s potential, as well as Angel Tan’s talent.
According to Alif Shah Jamil, his decision to release the song came after hearing the demo for the first time.
“The first time I heard the demo, I immediately liked the song. There was something very honest about it, and Angel’s own identity came through clearly. I immediately offered to take the song to the next level. Angel Tan is genuinely talented, and I believe she has significant room to grow in the industry.”
Beyond music, Angel Tan is also actively involved in modelling and commercial advertising, continuing to expand her presence in the entertainment industry through different creative
platforms.
The entire recording process for “Pulang Rumah” took place in Jakarta, Indonesia, with the
involvement of local creative talent. The project took more than two months to complete, while
the official music video was filmed over two days.
The music video production also received location support from KAI Commuter, the operator of Indonesia’s electric commuter rail services, commonly known as Kereta Rel Listrik (KRL).
For Chaoss Entertainment, collaborating with Indonesian creative teams is part of its broader effort to bring Angel Tan’s music closer to regional audiences, particularly in Malaysia and Indonesia.
“Pulang Rumah” will be officially released on all major digital streaming platforms on 30 October 2026 (Friday). The official music video will premiere on the Chaoss Entertainment YouTube channel.
