About her time on “The Voice of the Philippines Teen Edition 2020”
What was the most valuable lesson you learned during your time on “The Voice of the Philippines Teen Edition 2020”?
The most valuable lesson I learned during my The Voice Teens journey was to always give my best. I realized that every opportunity deserves your full effort, because you never know when the next one will come. It taught me the importance of seizing every moment and putting in the effort, regardless of the challenges.

Can you describe the feeling of performing on such a large stage for the first time? What were your biggest challenges and how did you overcome them?
Performing on such a stage, especially for the first time, is both nerve wracking and exciting for me. Scared that I might mess up my performance, but also excited to showcase my talent. I guess I can say that the biggest challenge I had to face at that time was my stage fright because I tend to get overwhelmed and nervous on stage. I was able to overcome it by remembering why I was there, and thinking about how much I want to reach my dreams.

Looking back, what’s one moment from your time on the show that you’ll always cherish?
One moment that I will always cherish from the show is when the three coaches turned for me. That moment gave me hope and motivation to pursue my passion, which is singing and performing.
What was it like performing at such prestigious venues as the Smart Araneta Coliseum and MOA Arena? How did those experiences compare to performing on a smaller scale?
It was really breathtaking, magical, and indescribable. It felt like I was a part of something much larger than myself , and that was both inspiring and motivating. Compared to performing on a smaller scale, the experience on these bigger stages felt more intense. I got to experience the full force of the energy from a massive crowd cheering for me and supporting me.
How did you prepare for such large-scale performances? Did your preparation differ from smaller shows?
Preparing for such large-scale performances required a different level of focus, hardwork, and discipline compared to smaller shows. I spent weeks continuously practicing my songs, did a lot of cardio to help with my physical health, and also restricted foods that may negatively affect my voice. I often pretend to perform in front of people and picture the big stage so that I get used to the feeling.

What are your hopes and expectations for the release of your single?
I hope people would listen to and appreciate my single, and that it leaves them wanting more. I want to share my love and passion for music, and express myself through it, connecting with my audience on a deeper level. I also hope that I inspire people through my music.

What’s your creative process like when writing and producing music?
My creative process starts with an idea or emotion I want to express, usually through lyrics. From there, I build the melody with my guitar, experimenting with sounds that fit the mood of the song. I stay open to where the music leads me, letting my creativity and imagination flow freely. Sometimes it’s the other way around. I start with a melody, then I try to play it with a guitar. And once I have that, I build the lyrics around it capturing the emotions I want to convey.
What kind of music do you aspire to create in the future? Are there any artists or genres that inspire you?
I aspire to create music that blends emotion and authenticity. One that leaves a lasting impression, one that people remember for its own unique beauty and distinctiveness. Artists like Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Adele, and Sabrina Carpenter inspire me with their unique artistic approaches and their ability to captivate audiences through their music.
What advice would you give to aspiring young singers who dream of following in your footsteps?
My advice would be to stay true to yourself, work hard on your craft, and be patient. Success takes time, and setbacks are part of the journey. Let your passion for music drive you, and always put God first in everything you do.
