Renowned for his distinctive vocals and recognized as one of T-POP’s rising stars, William Jakrapatr Kaewpanphong, better known as William of LYKN, has released his latest solo single, “Flashback” (จำได้ว่าลืม) under RISER MUSIC.

A soulful R&B ballad, Flashback captures the bittersweet realization that, despite believing you’ve moved on from someone, your feelings never truly disappeared. The music video stars acclaimed actress Freen Sarocha Chankimha, whose moving performance brings the song’s emotional story to life. The track is produced by KANGSOMKS (Thanatat Chaiyaat), who also co-wrote and composed the song, delivering a simple yet deeply affecting narrative.

Reflecting on the project, William shared:

“Flashback is my solo track from LYKN’s second album. R&B is the genre that best represents who I am as an artist. Working on a solo song was a completely different experience because I didn’t have my five bandmates constantly sharing ideas with me, so I had to prepare much more.

P’Kangsom gave me the freedom to contribute ideas, develop the song’s concept, and even participate in writing the lyrics while incorporating the musical style I love. Tui from LYKN also helped compose the melody, while Barcode from CLO’VER joined as the assistant composer. It was an incredibly enjoyable experience to create music alongside such talented friends.

The song tells the story of unexpectedly meeting someone again and realizing that the memories and emotions you thought had long disappeared were actually still there all along. Through simple lyrics and honest storytelling, it portrays someone who believed they had already moved on, only to discover that revisiting a familiar place or seeing that person again brings every hidden feeling rushing back.

I’m also truly honored that P’Freen agreed to star in the music video. Although it was our first time working together, she expressed the emotions perfectly. She was amazing, and filming was a wonderful experience. I hope everyone enjoys the music video and continues to support Flashback.”
