Independent P-POP girl group YSLA takes another step forward in their pre-debut journey with the release of their second single, “No Label,” following their dreamy first
single, “Bubble Date.”

The five-member filipino girl group, namely Mikat, Joana, Venus, Cheska and Cyla continues to carve out audiences with “Bubble Date,” a light and playful track centered on the excitement and kilig of first love. The group has since taken a different musical direction with “No Label,” showcasing a more mature, confident, and emotionally charged side of YSLA.

“Bubble Date” introduced listeners to the softer and sweeter side of the group, while “No Label” explores a different energy, one that is more direct, self-assured, and willing to challenge expectations.

Breaking Away From the Label

“No Label” is a relatable anthem about navigating no-label relationships, while at its
core, the song is about refusing to be confined by expectations and labels. It explores the freedom to choose your own identity and define relationships and experiences on
your own terms.

For Venus, the lead vocalist of YSLA who composed “No Label,” the song represents another side of YSLA’s artistry and their desire to create music that reflects the different emotions and experiences they want to share with their listeners.

The release also highlights YSLA’s creative involvement in their music. Another Step Toward YSLA’s Debut

With “No Label,” YSLA continues to expand beyond the sound and image introduced through “Bubble Date.” Rather than being defined by a single concept, the group is
using their pre-debut releases to explore different musical styles, stories, and sides of themselves before an officially debut group.
As the group continues building toward their official debut, YSLA’s leader, Mikat says fans can expect YSLA to keep evolving and redefine what’s next.
