EMI THASORN has been steadily releasing new music for fans to enjoy, showcasing her versatility as an all-around artist. Most recently, the talented singer released the emotional Pop Ballad “เพลงรักที่ยังไม่ลืม (Glitch)” (The Love Song I Still Can’t Forget), which captures the feelings of someone unable to let go of the past, still searching for the final piece of paper from an old book.
The single marks EMI THASORN’s first solo song as one half of the duo EMIBONNIE, under RISER MUSIC. Adding another personal touch to the project, her duo partner BONNIE (Patrphatsorn Borasutasuwan) takes on the role of the female lead in the music video.
Speaking about the making of “The Love Song I Still Can’t Forget (Glitch),” EMI THASORN shared:
“For ‘The Love Song I Still Can’t Forget (Glitch),’ this is my first solo single as an artist under the duo project of RISER MUSIC. It’s a sad Pop Ballad with easy-to-understand lyrics that tell the story of someone still searching for an ending to a past relationship. No matter how much they want to forget, every melody continues to linger in their heart.
I think this is a feeling many people may have experienced, so the song represents ‘people who still can’t forget their ex’ and ‘people who aren’t ready to start over.’ The emotional intensity changes throughout each section of the song, allowing me to explore a variety of vocal tones—from the beginning of the story all the way to the ending. It’s another side of my emotional music, and I really love how it turned out.
As for the music video, it tells the story of searching for the missing final page of an old book, which represents the ‘conclusion’ of a past relationship. In the end, the character discovers that having no answer is actually the clearest answer of all.
BONNIE also appears in the MV. She is portrayed as the final blank page—the one that comes into our lives to give us ‘freedom.’ The song is also part of the series ‘Moonshadow’ (เงาใต้พระจันทร์), just like my previous single.
That’s why having BONNIE play the female lead in the MV felt especially fitting for the song’s story and message. Now that both the song and music video have officially been released, I hope everyone enjoys it!”
